Some series are classified entirely as OVA because they were originally made to be sold on disc, without airing anywhere prior to the disc releases. If you liked it, then watch the OVAs because they usually add something. This is usually the case when the source manga is short and only a few episodes are necessary to run through the plot. Other times OVAs are completely standalone, unrelated to a manga series. OVA stands for Original Video Animation, this means these episodes are much like “Beta-tests.” Or they can be anything that isn’t related to the Anime itself, for example In the Anime “Clannad” there is an OVA episode where Tomoyo /Spoilers/ and Tomoya have a romantic relationship, however in the actual series this Should I watch OVA episodes? ![]()
